King David, like the others and all of us, sinned against God.

What made the difference?

He came clean with God; read Psalm 51: “Against Thee and Thee only have I sinned. Create in me a clean heart. Renew in me a right Spirit. Restore the joy of my salvation. Wash me and I will be white as snow.”

Go to a God who is merciful, to a God who can wash away our sin.
